BISE AJK — or Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Azad Jammu & Kashmir — was established in 1973 through the ordinance implemented by the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The standardized board exams started being held in 1974, a year after the board’s establishment. The results for BISE AJK board exams are usually announced in August or September every year.
Last year, the results for the 12th class (intermediate part 2) were announced on September 5th. And, this year, the results are expected to arrive in either in late August or early September, between August 25th and September 5th.
Although the results of intermediate part 1 in AJK Board are usually announced in August, this year it’s expected that they will be announced in September, like the 12th class results.
BISE AKJ announced the 2019 results for class 10 on July 23rd, 2019. The SSC Part II result can be viewed on the official Azad Jammu and Kashmir Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education website.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Azad Jammu & Kashmir announced the 2019 result for SSC Part I on August 4th, 2019. Students can view their 9th class results on the official BISE AJK website.
While students in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Azad Jammu & Kashmir usually obtain good marks in their board exams, there are many students who fail too. Sometimes this happens becauase of emergency situations and other times it’s because of the difficulty of the curriculum.
If you are one of the students who failed an exam in high school in the AJK Board, you should not worry. BISE AJK offers students two opportunities to save their high school percentile. One choice is to reattempt the exams of the failed subject next year. The other is to take supplementary exams that happen in the same year. Most students opt for this option.
Usually, students fail in subjects like maths, physics, and English. This is because these subjects are more detailed and require a lot of focus. BISE AJK 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th class students can study for their supplementary exams in these subjects by using good past papers. For example, you can find the AJK Board 2019 maths solved past paper online.
Whether you have passed or failed, you can find your BISE AJK results online on the official website of the AJK Board. A lot of education boards, such as BISE Lahore and BISE Gujranwala, also have the option to find out your results through text messages.
All the results in AJK Board will be announced by September 2019, after which preparations for the supplementary exams season will start.
