The Central Superior Services (CSS) special examinations are set to take place in December 2020, to fill 188 vacancies which have not been filled for several years now.
The CSS examinations are conducted every year in February. However, as there are some vacancies which must be filled, there will be special exams held in December of this year. The Prime Minister has sent the approval to conduct the SCC special examinations at the end of this year. Accordingly, preparations are being made to conduct the exams from December, 2020.
There are currently 188 vacancies available to fill. According to the quota, the division of the vacant seats for the different provinces is as follows:
Balochistan: 49 seats
Rural Sindh: 41 seats
Urban Sindh: 19 seats
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 22 seats
FATA/Gilgit-Baltistan: 16 seats
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 2 seats
Punjab Minorities Quota: 39 seats
Both males and females between the ages 21 to 30 are eligible to appear for the CSS special exams, however, seats will be awarded according to the above mentioned quotas.
The CSS examinations lead to some of the most prestigious careers in the country. Therefore, the exams are very competitive and candidates are expected to have the strongest exam preparation in order to succeed.
Therefore, candidates are advised to secure their exam preparation as soon as possible, as there is limited time before the commencement of the examinations.
