According to president Prof Zaidi, GCU’s five-year LLB program is thoroughly designed with the help of the competent legal minds, such as Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh, former Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, and Justice Masud Abid Naqvi and Justice Jawad Hassan, current judges of the Lahore High Court.

Senator Azam examined the library and classes in readiness for the forthcoming batch of law students. He was pleased that the GCU has begun a legal degree program, since many renowned Pakistani jurists were past ravians, and they would be a valuable resource for the university’s law department.

Prof. Zaidi also discussed his ambitions for Dr Muhammad Iqbal Law School, which would provide LLM and PhD programs in legal disciplines. On the occasion, Dr Raiz Ahmad, Dean GCU  and Shahzad Ahmed, Controller of Examinations were also there.
