GCU’s 19th convocation ceremony 2021 to be organized

LAHORE: According to the reports received by the officials of the Government College University on Thursday it is known that the university is going to hold a convocation ceremony to award the degree to the alumni.

The convocation ceremony is planned to take place from 17th September to 19th September. The session for awarding degrees to the passed students of Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs will be held on 17th September, Friday. It will be the first session of the convocation.

A limited number of PhD and M.Phil. students. All the grantees of the rest of the degrees will receive their respective degree in the remaining two sessions of the convocation i.e. on Saturday 18th September and last session on Sunday 19th September.

Last year, GCU held the convocation in February and 2044 students were granted degrees in the convocation. 68 students received PhD degrees, 644 were awarded MS/M.Phil. degrees, 344 were given MA/MSc degrees and 988 were granted BA/BSc (HONs) degrees.
