Choose a Business that is Easy to Manage

First of all, select a business that you can easily manage. There are many possibilities for intermediate students. For the first business venture, it is better to stick to one that is not too technical or complicated. Some good options are:

  • Tutoring
  • Babysitting
  • Podcasting
  • Graphic designing
  • Cooking Service

Such business options are good for intermediate students because they do not require heavy time or cost investment. Hence, you can easily balance your studies while managing the business.

  • Create a Schedule

    Create a Schedule

The next step is to create a schedule. This should help you balance your time between work, school, and self-study. Creating a schedule will prevent clashes between your various responsibilities and help you organize your time.

For example, if your school timings are between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays, then you cannot be managing your business during that time. Instead, allocate your time for exam preparation after school hours, for instance between 4:00-7:00. Then give yourself time to manage your business in between these timings, or allocate time on the weekends.

Creating a schedule is essential to make sure that all your responsibilities are given due time in the week without being neglected.

  • Utilize Your Study Timings

Finally, make sure that you are fully utilizing the study timings you allocate for yourself. Since your time will be divided between your studies and business, you must practice complete concentration.

So, while you are performing exam preparation, do not spend your time thinking about work. Instead, give 100% attention to your studies. Learn effectively and solve plenty of past papers. Then, after you have fully utilized your study time, then you can dedicate your energy to your business work.

If you allow yourself to become distracted by work during exam preparation, and vice versa, you will experience inefficiency in both areas. Therefore, it is important to divide your time and give each task at hand the attention that they require.

These steps will really help you balance your studies with your business start-up. Always keep in mind that your studies should never be neglected, no matter how great of a business idea you have. This is because a good education is needed in order to advance and grow your professional career and businesses.
