PEEF Scholarship for Minority Students 2019-2020

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) recently announced a scholarship program for minority students in Punjab. According to the organization’s flyer, the Special Quota Scholarship is meant for intermediate and graduation students.

This scholarship program has been made by the Department of Human Rights, Punjab, for talented students.

Standing as a golden opportunity for hardworking and talented minority students throughout the Punjab Province, it’s a sign that the Government of Punjab and, by nature, Pakistan, is starting to take educational matters seriously.

You can apply for the PEEF Special Quota Educational Scholarship if you:

  1. Have completed matric/intermediate from the Punjab Education Boards or have domicile from Punjab.
  2. Are an orphan, meaning your father is deceased
  3. Are the child of 1 to 4-grade government employees
  4. Belong to a minority religion, e.g. Hinduism or Christianity
  5. Have any kind of disability
  6. Are the child of civilian victims of terrorist attacks

Other prerequisites:

  1. Completion of matric/intermediate from BISE Punjab or FBISE
  2. Minimum 60% marks in matric/intermediate 2019 annual exams
  3. You can if you were a school/college/private student within BISE Punjab or FBISE
  4. If your parents’ total monthly income is 23,000 PKR
