ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC), was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Monday in which many important issues regarding the education of Pakistan was discussed.
During the meeting, the provincial education Ministers were also present and they discussed the future of education in Pakistan in regard to the latest situation of COVID-19 in the country, new classes which are to be started, board students to take two exams, implementation of the Single National Curriculum in all provinces of Pakistan, and promotion policy.
After the meeting, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood announced these decisions on his official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood allowed all the universities of Pakistan to design their own timetable for examinations and tests the ministry will not interfere in their matters regarding the examination.

Whereas, next year’s board exams will be held in May-June and new session for board classes will start from August 22, 2022.
The minister also clarified in the same tweet that O and A level exams will be held as per schedule.
