It was also decided in the meeting that consent would be taken from parents and they will be guaranteed security of their children by the school administration.

The provisional health minister stated that during such hard times when the world is going through a pandemic it would be preferable to vaccinate the students for the smooth continuation of education and for the well being of students. He also mentioned that the arrangement of  Covid-19 vaccines in schools and colleges is the responsibility of the health department. He added that “Registration should also be ensured once the vaccine is completed.” the provincial health minister said.

Schools all around Sindh resumed educational activities on Monday according to the instructions by the provincial School Education and Literacy Department. As per the notification, schools are to remain open six days a week, with 50 percent attendance of students on alternate days.
