The list of 10th class position holders 2019 across the Punjab Board is available to view. Students are awarded ranks as “position holders” if they have scored the highest marks on their matric final exams across all the Punjab Boards.
Unfortunately, the Punjab Board did not award any position holders for the year 2020. This is because of the novel coronavirus pandemic which swept the nation and led to the cancellation of exams.
While 10th class students managed to appear for the theoretical papers before the cancellation of exams in early March 2020, the practical examinations were cancelled. Hence, the Punjab Board devised a scheme for promoting 10th class students to the next class by giving practical marks proportional to the theory marks. However, due to this reason, the position holders for 2020 are not announced.
