IBA, Maersk to establish scholarship funds

KARACHI: MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and a well recognized formulated logistics company Maersk Pakistan on Thursday  to collaborate to set up Maersk Future Leaders Scholarship with an objective to make the institute’s  financial assistance program better for the students who are coming from different ethnic and social backgrounds.

Under this MoU, which was signed by Executive Director, IBA , Dr Akbar Zaidi and Managing Director, Maersk Pakistan, Aruna Hussain, at IBA, City Campus,  an annual scholarship fund of around Rs 2.25 million will be formed  to reinforce a laudable undergraduate student from IBA’s National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) for  four years by Maersk at the Institute. NTHP registers capable and efficient students on the basis of grading criteria from various domains and awards them scholarships.
