The Government of Punjab has announced a reduced smart syllabus for class 9th and 10th. The decision has been taken to reduce the syllabus for the SSC Part-1 examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent closure of schools and limited college activities.
The academic session is scheduled between September 2020 to February 2021. Since there is limited time, and students have already suffered a loss due to the closure of colleges across the country, there is not enough time to cover the entire syllabus. Hence, the BISE Punjab Board has developed the reduced syllabus for 9th class SSC Part-1 examinations 2021.
The official announcement regarding the smart syllabus has mentioned the page numbers of each chapter in the notification. The annual SSC paper will be made based on these chapters and pages mentioned in the notification.
