President IIU, Governor Balochistan agreed to boost Education

ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha met International Islamic University (IIU) President, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi at Faisal Masjid to discuss matters of mutual concern.

 In this meeting, they agreed to cooperate with each other to promote education in the province of Balochistan.

The governor of Balochistan acknowledged the role of Islamic International University in promoting the quality of education across the country. He said that IIUI is a unique center because this institution is not only promoting quality learning and education but also building the youth of Pakistan on the golden principles of Islam.

Governor also said that IIUI and universities of Balochistan must work together to extend the scope in the field of training and capacity building of youth. He also admires the role of IIUI in providing special accommodation and residential facilities to the students of Balochistan who came for accessing higher education in the university. 

During the meeting, both discussed future programs to explore new avenues particularly in the areas of research and training, and agreed to uplift the quality of higher education in the province of Balochistan.

 IIUI President also inform the Governor about the future initiatives and goals to enhance market-oriented education which could nurture the youth of Pakistan according to prevailing challenges of the world.

Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi also apprised the governor that the University has granted special financial support in the form of scholarships to those Balochi students who are unable to afford their education.

The governor formally thanked the IIUI President for paying special attention to students of Balochistan. he also emphasized that universities must promote the exchange of experiences through mutual cooperation to enhance the spread of quality education across the country.
